Supporting your baby’s journey to life.

Concrete Background

Only the best care for you and your baby, from pregnancy to postpartum.

What does the research say?

Research shows having a doula can improve birth outcomes, but what does that mean exactly? Well, doulas have been proven to:

  • Significantly produce positive delivery outcomes
  • Reduce cesarean and premature deliveries
  • Improve breast-feeding success (especially in lower-income communities)
  • Improve rates of continued breastfeeding weeks after childbirth
  • Reduce anxiety and stress during labor
  • Reduce the length of labor
  • Raise confidence and autonomy throughout labor

What is the impact?

Doulas do not serve in a clinical or medical role, but can serve as advocates for your autonomy in attempts to avoid health disparities (or health issues that effect a particular group more than others). By providing continuous support, encouragement, and guidance to patients, having a doula on your team can make all the difference in your birthing experience.
